Lakers News: Watch LA Honor LeBron James' 40,000th Point During Timeout

Congrats to LeBron James!

LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to score 40,000 career points and the Los Angeles Lakers honored him with a tribute during a timeout.

Think about this. James has more points than Magic Johnson and Larry Byrd scored in their career combined.

The record-setting bucket came in the second quarter with 10:41 on the clock.

The legend of James will continue to grow with every basket he scores for the rest of his career and there will most likely not be another basketball player to break his all-time scoring record.
