Calvatia Gigantea

Description

Calvatia Gigantea (giant cottonwood) - An excellent edible mushroom that can grow up to 50 cm in size and 4 kg in weight. It is a mycorrhizal fungus that usually grows in meadows.

Warning: This is not a wood-destroying (saprophytic) fungus and cannot be grown in the usual way on wooden substrates.

We grow it in meadows in an environment suitable for the growth of this mushroom (drier environment) by watering the grass roots with liquid mycelium. Recommended quantity min. 2 l / m2. This is not intensive cultivation and therefore the results are not guaranteed, but rather an interesting hobby project for every mushroom grower.

Liquid mycelium grows at normal room temperature.

Packaging: 10 ml of liquid mycelium and 1 sterile needle.

Storage: 4-5 months at room temperature, or 10-12 months in the refrigerator
