Postcoital dysphoria is the experience of sudden, unexplainable sadness, anxiety, or irritability after sexual intercourse, activity, or orgasm. These mood related symptoms occasionally happen and usually resolve on their own in a matter or minutes. However, some people find they become more frequent and severe.
