The cause of Behçet's disease is unknown, but it may be the body's immune system attacking healthy cells (autoimmune disorder).
Symptoms include mouth and genital sores, inflamed eyes, and rashes.
Steroids, mouthwash, and eyedrops can provide relief.
Very rare: Fewer than 20,000 US cases per year
