MSI X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium Motherboard ($299 US):

The MSI X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium comes in the lovely white and black design which is also seen on the Intel Z270 chipset based variant. The motherboard has a 10 phase PWM design fitted with the highest quality components. These allow higher overclockability and stability with Ryzen CPUs which will be fully supported by the AM4 socket. There are two aluminum based heatsinks fitted with heatpipe cooling that dissipate heat from the VRMs.

Four DDR4 DIMM slots allow for really fast memory support with capacity of up to 64 GB and speeds running past 4000 MHz (O.C.+). Expansion slots include three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and dual Turbo M.2 slots (32 Gb/s). Storage options on the board include 6 SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, a Turbo U.2 port and dual USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 front panel headers.

The motherboard is powered by various power inputs. CPU is supplied through the 8+4 pin connector, the 24-pin ATX connector powers the board while an extra 6-pin power connector lies at the bottom to provide extra juice to the PCIe slots when running multiple GPUs.

Some overclocking friendly features that can be found on the board are an OC BIOS switch, reset/power switches and an internal USB 3.1 connector to boot up BIOS from a flash storage device. I/O on the board includes a PS/2 port, seven USB 2.0, eight USB 3.0 ports, dual USB 3.1 (Type-A + Type-C), Ethernet LAN port, HDMI, DP 1.4 ports and a 7.1 channel audio jack. The motherboard will cost $299 US or $369 CAD.

MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard ($179 US):

The MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon comes in a sweet all-black color design. The board features heatsinks that come in carbon fiber texture and cool the VRMs and PCH. The motherboard is fitted with MSI's RGB LED system known as Mystic Aura. The AM4 socket is surrounded by a 10 phase PWM that is powered by a single 8-pin CPU power connector. There are four DDR4 DIMM slots that are shielded by a metallic plate on this motherboard. We can expect some impressive speeds beyond 3600 MHz (OC+) on the DRAM with OC profiles enabled.

Expansion slots include three PCIe 3.0 x16, three PCI-e 3.0 x1 and dual M.2 slots, one of which has MSI's M.2 heatsink featured. There's MSI Audio Boost solution for high quality, integrated audio output. Storage options include six SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and a single USB 3.0 front panel header. The MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon will retail at a price of $179 US or $225 CAD.

MSI B350 Tomahawk Gaming Motherboard ($110 US):

The second board is based on the B350 chipset which is a more affordable PCH for AM4 PC builders. The motherboard is a pretty decent design that comes with the AM4 socket and a 6 phase PWM design. CPU is powered by an 8-pin connector.

Four DDR4 DIMM slots offer support for memory capacity up to 64 GB. Expansion slots include two PCIe 3.0 x16, two PCIe 3.0 x1 and two PCI slots. There’s also a single M.2 slot. Do note that a single  PCIe slot is covered in metal shielding which is a new feature MSI introduced with their Z270 lineup and now extending it on to the upcoming AMD AM4 motherboards. Storage options include four SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and a single USB 3.0 front panel header.

Other features include a sweet design for gamers who want to build some interesting, gaming focused budget builds. This motherboard is going to cost $110 US or $138 CAD.

MSI B350M Gaming Pro Motherboard ($80 US) and MSI A320M Gaming Pro Motherboard ($70 US):

There are also two M-ATX motherboards from MSI that are based on the Gaming Pro design and priced under $100 US. These include the B350M Gaming Pro and the A320M Gaming Pro. Prices for both will be set at $80 US ($101 CAD) and $70 US ($89 CAD), respectively. We don't have more details on what exact specifications do these boards feature but we will surely let you know in a couple of days before launch.

MSI A320M PRO-VD Motherboard ($60 US):

The MSI A320M PRO-VD is a very basic M-ATX motherboard that comes with a simple design. The board features a 3+1 phase PWM. The socket is powered by a single 8-pin connector. The motherboard comes in a brown colored PCB so we can tell this would be at the entry level side of things. Memory options will include two DDR4 DIMM slots that can support up to 32 GB of DRAM. Expansion slots include a single PCIe 3.0 x16 and dual PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Storage options include four SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and a single USB 3.0 front panel connector.

I/O on the board is very basic with a single VGA, DVI port, PS/2, dual USB 3.0, dual USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN and a 3-channel audio jack. The motherboard will cost $60 US or $77 CAD at launch.
