Tyson Fury pictured back in training for the first time since drugs shame saw heavyweight champion have belt stripped

The Gypsy King took over heavyweight boxing with a shock win over Wladimir Klitschko but he unravelled and broke down soon after

TYSON FURY has been pictured back in a boxing ring for the first time since his public meltdown and title stripping as he works toward returning to the sport.

Pictures have been posted by Team Fury's twitter page showing the 6ft 9in fighter boxing under the watchful eye of uncle and trainer Peter Fury in his Bolton gym.

In October 2016 the fighter revealed he had been tacking “lots of cocaine” and posted a photo of himself mocked-up as Scarface villain and drug dealer Tony Montana.

Fury said: “I’ve done lots of cocaine. Lots of it. Why shouldn’t I take cocaine? It’s my life isn’t it? I can do what I want.

“What the f*** has that got to do with anything? That ain’t a performance-enhancing drug.”

Those revelations came a year after his amazing night in Dusseldorf dethroning Klitschko in his own adopted back yard.

The points win – Klitschko’s first defeat in 11 years - earned Fury the WBA, WBO and IBF.

Disgracefully he was stripped of the IBF belt two weeks later after agreeing to the Klitschko rematch instead of facing mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov.

An ankle injury wrecked the first scheduled rematch in June and in September he was ruled out of the rearranged fight with reports of depression.

Recently the huge fighter enjoyed a boozy trip to Copenmhagen to watch fellow traveller Isaac Lowe fight over St Patrick's Day weekend.

The outspoken star piled on the pounds during his retirment and got as heavy as 25 stone.
