Boris Becker gets his impounded Maserati back and is instantly hit with a parking ticket – a week after announcing bankruptcy and £3 million debt
Former ace, 49, not having much luck at the moment
BORIS Becker has a parking ticket slapped on his sports car just days after it was towed away.
The penalty was visible on the windscreen of his £65,000 blue Maserati as the tennis ace, who was declared bankrupt last week, visited a London private members club today.
On Monday the plush motor was impounded after it was illegally parked outside the same club.
Motorists are expected to pay the penalty charge as well as a £200 fee to get their cars back.
Monday also saw him get a parking ticket on his red Porsche 4x4.
Friends say their marriage has been under strain for a while and she may be considering a divorce.
Becker, 49, was declared bankrupt last week over a £3.34million debt and a costly divorce would push him deeper into the financial mire.
Lilly, 40, was putting on a brave face as she visited a hairdresser in London the day after the bankruptcy hearing.
But her friends say the marriage was in trouble before Becker was made bankrupt.
It is not known if Lilly, who has a seven-year-old son with the tennis star, has moved out of their London home, although sources say she has been spending more time in her native Germany.
When Becker was asked about his marriage at his home yesterday he said: “It’s too early in the day for me, go away.”

His spokesman said later: “We don’t comment on our clients’ private lives.”
Becker, who first won Wimbledon at 17, was once worth around £30million. But his fortune dwindled after a series of bad investments.
He also had to pay £2million to a Russian model he got pregnant after they had sex in a broom cupboard at a London restaurant.
