Bikini vs. Brazilian Wax
What is the difference between a bikini wax and a Brazilian wax? Which one should you get?
Both bikini and Brazilian wax remove unwanted hair down there – in and around the panty area. The difference comes down to how much hair is removed. In general, with a Brazilian wax, all hair (or almost all of it) is removed, while bikini wax leaves more hair inside the panty line.

The Brazilian Wax

A Brazilian wax removes all pubic hair: from the front, back, and sides. All hair is removed, including the hair on the labia.
You can request a strip left in the front if you don’t want to go completely bare.
The Bikini Wax
Choose from two options for your bikini wax: a basic or French bikini wax.
The basic bikini wax includes hair removal outside the panty line and one finger width inside the panty line. Labia is left untouched. The hairline below the navel is also included.
The French bikini wax is similar to a regular bikini wax, except the hair is removed further inside the panty line. A two-finger width strip is left in the middle, and the labia is left untouched. Removal of the hair below the navel is also included in this service.
Which one is better: Brazilian or Bikini Wax?
We wish we could tell you. But it’s up to your preference.
Some swear by Brazilian wax, while others prefer bikini wax.
Here are a couple of things you can consider.
1. Brazilian wax can be more painful.
A Brazilian wax can be more painful than a bikini wax, depending on your pain tolerance. The reason is that the waxing includes more sensitive areas.
Before you say no, though… know that our estheticians are rock stars in waxing! They will make sure to get you in and out quickly – and safely – and with the least amount of pain possible. This brings us to point number two.
