No Doutzen: Four September Kroes Covers

DOUTZEN KROES's flaxen hair, natural full pout and quite unbelievable physique have combined to make her one of the models of the moment; but she didn't grow up obsessed with fashion like the thousands of little girls who idolise her. "Growing up, I was more of a tomboy," she admitted, "but as I've gotten older, I have a much bigger appreciation for clothing!" Just as well, since this month she's found herself on the cover of an unprecedented four issues of Vogue: Italy, Spain, China, and her native Netherlands, for the year's big fashion issue, no less. In addition to her Vogue quartet, this month she's been unveiled as the face of Emilio Pucci; a label that she clearly identifies with. "To me the Emilio Pucci woman is chic, confident and sexy," she explained. "The patterns are so iconic and bold that only a strong woman can pull the looks off." When we spoke to Kroes, she was relaxing on holiday in Ibiza with her husband Sunnery James and son Phyllon - so did the 28-year-old ever imagine that she'd be one of the world's most successful models?
