The story of Prince Harry losing his virginity was a heavily covered competent in his 2023 memoir, Spare, and Elizabeth Hurley can’t seem to escape the rumor that she was the mystery woman he described. The 58-year-old actress is doubling down (again) on why she and Harry couldn’t have had an entanglement together — and it’s a pretty solid reason.
On Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Hurley set the record straight after a fan inquired if she was the “older” woman in the Duke of Sussex’s book. “That was ludicrous!” Hurley explained. “He said, ‘She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And they were like, ‘Ah, it’s Elizabeth.’ It was absurd. It was ridiculous.” She then shared a comparison that everyone will understand adding, “It was like saying, ‘He’s great-looking. He’s American. Oh, it’s Andy Cohen.'”

If anyone still doesn’t believe Hurley, then maybe this small detail will convince you. Hurley also confirmed, “I’ve never met him in my life.” So, there is absolutely no way that The Royals star is the woman in question — and hopefully, her response puts the gossip to rest for good. For those still looking for clues in identifying Harry’s mystery woman, we have to go back to his book where he spills the tea.
“She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion. Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze,” Harry recalled in Spare. “Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.” The Duke of Sussex described the milestone moment as an “inglorious episode” of his life. Internet detectives are going to have to go back to the drawing board, erase Hurley’s name from the file, and start all over again.
While Hurley has never met Harry, she is friendly with other members of the royal family, including King Charles III. She was sad to miss his coronation last May because she was working in the U.S. at the time. She told People, “I had to watch it delayed and the bits I watched were absolutely gorgeous, just elegant, beautiful, and majestic, and I’m so glad I wasn’t in charge, can you imagine? Can you imagine how to organize that?”
