Kristine Froseth might still be making it in Hollywood, but she's about to blow up thanks to her role as Veronica in Sierra Burgess is a Loser.

Here's everything you need to know about Krisitne:

1. She was born in Norway.

According to her interview with V magazine, Kristine was born in Norway and grew up in Norway and New Jersey. "We would move back and forth every few years. I had to constantly try to fit in with whatever friend group, so I would just adopt a lot of different personalities," she said.

2. Her first role was in The Weeknd's music video.

Don't be surprised if you thought Kristine looked familiar. Chances are that you recognized her from The Weeknd's video for "False Alarm." In it, she gets kidnapped by a bunch of bank robbers and she must find a way to escape.

3. She got the acting bug after an audition.

John Green's book Looking for Alaska was originally planned to be a movie and the film's director, Rebecca Thomas, asked Kristine to audition for the role. She did and got the part, according to Interview magazine, but the movie never took off and it's now being turned into a mini-series.

"Right after I did this audition, I realized that this is something I’m obsessed with, and it is such a bizarre thing that you can do this for a living," she told W magazine. "I’m so fascinated by why humans are the way they are, and this is basically diving into human nature and being a detective. I knew I had to do this."

4. She has another Netflix movie coming out.

If you're waiting for her next film, you won't have to wait too long. Kristine will star in Apostle, which is also being released on Netflix. Set in 1905, She's playing a member of a cult who is behind a kidnapping.

5. She's really close friends with Sierra Burgess is a Loser co-star Shannon Purser.

Even after filming, this duo can't get enough of each other. They have been posting cute photos of themselves as they promote the film and their friendship is amazing!

"[Shannon Purser] is the best," she told W magazine. "She is such a sweetheart and just 100 percent goodness. She always had my back, and I’m incredibly grateful to have gotten to work with her."

6. She was completely different from Veronica in high school.

If you thought that Kristine would be just like her character, you're completely wrong. In her interview with W magazine, she revealed that she was actually afraid of people like Veronica.

"It was terrifying going back to high school," she said. "I didn’t like high school. But I was doing it from a completely different perspective. The mean girls, they terrified me, and now I had to play one. I had to play the person I disliked the most at school. But it was fun playing a cheerleader, I do have to say that."

7. She's been modeling for years.

While Kristine might be new to the big screen, she's very familiar on the runway. She has modeled for Armani, Juicy Couture, H&M, and is currently working with Miu Miu.

8. She loves to share photos of her travels on Instagram.

If you don't follow her yet, you definitely should. Her Instagram handle is @kristine_froseth and she's always posting new photos of all the new places she has been to on her account. Maybe you'll find your new vacation spot on there.
