• Elizabeth Hurley dances in a plunging one-piece swimsuit in a new Instagram video.
  • Fans loved the bright, cheery clip.
  • This month, the actress has been a vocal advocate of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Fashion rules are made to be broken, and Elizabeth Hurley stands by that. In a new Instagram video, the 58-year-old actress and swimsuit designer proudly wore white after Labor Day in the form of a plunging one-piece swimsuit and knit cover-up.

The pieces are from Hurley’s very own swimwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach. She modeled the garments in a series of clips in which she danced through her house to Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer.” She accessorized the look with an oversized pair of rimmed sunglasses from Elton John’s eyewear line, some Bobbi Brown lipgloss, and even took some time to step outside and bask in the sun’s warmth.

“Always a joy to wake up to @bananarama_official,” she captioned the post. Fans and friends adored her dedication to keeping summer’s energy alive. “You always wear white well. 🤍🤍🤍🤍” one person commented. “Beautiful as always!! Forever young!!🔥🔥❤️❤️” another added. “Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. 😍🔥🔥🔥” someone else wrote.

Hurley is not only unafraid to embrace her personal style and show off her body at 58, she told Yahoo! Life in 2022, but she’s also unashamed to talk about it, in terms of its health and well-being. In fact, she has been especially vocal about preventative screening and care in October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“I think the most important thing you can do is familiarize yourself with your breasts because they’re yours and only you know how they feel,” she recently told Us Weekly. “You should recognize something when it’s abnormal, and you should go to the [doctor] right away.” She added that annual mammograms are “vital” and a part of “looking after your health in every way.”

Hurley has long passionately advocated for breast cancer awareness, ever since she lost her grandmother to the disease. That’s why she refuses to stay silent, she told Yahoo! Life. “When my grandmother died of breast cancer more than 30 years ago, no one talked about breasts out loud, certainly not breast cancer,” she explained. “So such vast strides have been made that one can do that. That said, I visited different countries and different cultures where it still is taboo to publicly talk about breasts and that certainly does not help open discussions about breast cancer.”

She continued: “Any remaining taboos are certainly there for us to challenge.”

And she’s doing that with every statement, and every Instagram post she makes by normalizing women’s bodies, inside and out.
