Recently featured in almost every design magazine known to man, the garland light by London based designer Tord Boontje is an exceptionally beautiful pendant lamp at an affordable price. Produced by artecnica, the garland is attached to the wire above the lamp with a simple clip and wraps around the bulb, similar to a flower arrangement. The process of making the garland involves photographically etching intricate flower patterns on stainless steel. The lamp can be extended and freely forms to any scale.
