Played a lot of games in my time! This game is really fun to start! Once you get to a certain point, level 100, you can't progress! You are stuck making no progress for weeks at times! Even putting in real world money, you will not move forward! You get stuck, make no progression! No longer fun, but a daily chore! Oh, did I mention the commercial you see for the game is crap! These new game designers are not making games that people will want to keep playing, for fun and enjoyment. Its about them making money! Why can't they do both! Could have been a great game, but once you can't progress, it is no fun anymore! You could make more money off long time players, than short farmers!

Dont kid yourself you can not achieve anything in this game unless you PAY PAY PAY ... dont even start.

Every upgrade, every character, will cost you and just when you think that you have spent enough they will find another way to screw you.

It is truly a sad reflection on the the developers that they have stopped so low ... i am sure that they had good intentions when they first developed the game but there are no value here any more just a money hungry urge to screw you over..

The Game is enjoyable but slow and every inch that you move upwards'you pay for. It is all about the money ... if you have qa truck load of money then this game is for you.

In this game they need money , it's fine every game creator expects but this game design is for spending money & money other wise you won't go next . After spending lot of money then u realise this is trash game or money looting game

All above points are my opinion.

There are some positive thoughts and negative thoughts about this game along with my experience. This game is awesome and I have played Hero Wars for the past 4-6 months. I have made more and more new heroes along the way and I really enjoy playing with my heroes a lot. But the bad thing about Hero Wars is that there are times where the game does not run smoothly mostly when I attend the campaign battles. There are times where it is choppy and it has been my number 1 annoyance. I've updated the game before but it still doesn't help. Without the phone stuttering too much, I would rate Hero Wars 5 stars but I rated it 2 stars because of the choppy/stuttering gameplay.

Recently I've played Hero Wars on my Computer and when I first played it I had fun for a while. You basically go to the campaign modes and pick 5 characters to use in order to auto fight enemies and win random loot items, including experience points. Gold coins but it costs energy points and you'll need emeralds which costs real money which you're required to pay, just like in Final Fantasy All the Bravest and the fun ends for me.

You can also compete in the Arena and Grand Arena to duke it out with other players online and get Arena coins. You can also go to the tower to get coins and tower coins and purchase items however the enemies get too powerful to the point it becomes unwinnable.

But as you level up your characters it gets more grindy as it gets to be too expensive and you run out of experience potions too quickly and the enemies level up just like in Final Fantasy 8 which is not fun as they get too powerful and defeat your party easily and you're constantly trying to find random rare items for your characters to build like in Final Fantasy 8. I hate having to find item pieces as it's an annoying hassle to win at random and some battles give you nothing which sucks.

Also you get to do side quests but they cost energy points which I run out of too quickly. I do like the art in the game but there's not much music in the game which gets repetitive.

I've spent some money on getting powerups for my characters but I get gipped and my characters still die too easily and you need to spend powerup coins just to get strength and you need to get artifact coins to get characters powerup items.

In conclusion, I feel this online game is a waste of time and money and it doesn't feel rewarding even when you spend money for powerups or emeralds and it's a ripoff.

This game is very much like Final Fantasy All The Bravest. This could've been a great game if they would've just let us pay a reasonable amount of money to let us get unlimited energy bolts. It's a shame this company Nexters had to ripoff customers. This microtransaction scam game should be on the banned video game list since it basically scams customers with a ripoff microtransaction.

If there are players that wanting to play this pay to play Hero Wars game, don't, stay away from it, you're better off buying PC Steam games instead. Microtransaction spending should be banned in America since it causes customers to go broke or bankrupt or even put them into debt. I hope this game shuts down since there's no reward in playing it or even a story.

So other reviewers pretty much covered it, it is play to pay, for the most part. You don't have to, by any means, but it is hard to get traction (level) if you don't. Starting off isn't so bad, but as you play more you realize leveling your heroes and titans are a real B.

It really depends if you need to move them up quicker or your happy with the grind. Pretty much all mini games are available to you, pay or not. The dungeon, campaigns, tower, arenas, and all special events (which they do a lot of). None of that costs a dime. No change in rewards either (except the season events), but yes, you can throw money at special events to get more, which of course they are hoping for. That's pretty much the business model.

I think the game is pretty playable without spending much. Almost. If you can't stand being a low level, then you will either spend money, or you probably don't want to play. I've done a little of both, stick to the grind, but from time to time, toss some money at the game. So, If you are cool with the time sink grind, then you're fairly okay.

However, I would say regardless how you feel about that, you'll want to throw a little cash at the game any way so you can RAID. This allows you to just click through the battles and get the rewards. Big time saver. Your able to RAID at VIP1, which is for life. So you spend a buck or two (one time) say on some emeralds, and it is yours forever. No future payments. That isn't bad, but here is the hook, VIP1 allows you to RAID one battle at a time. Once you do it a few times, you'll likely wish you can do like 10 battles at a time or more. To do that you will need VIP5. Which means a little more cash. Again, once there, it is yours for life. So not and endless money sink. Me? I consider it worth it. Really removes the grind. Plus, your not spending much to get to VIP5.

A nice optional money sink is the Valkyrie's Favor. It is pretty cheap, but if you do it, it is a weekly renewable cost. Its a nice bonus that allows you to play battle 5x as fast, and gives you a few other helpful rewards on a daily basis. This could also go to your VIP status as well. Basically anytime you send money, it adds to your VIP status. I'm cool throwing some money at the game. I spend more on my daily refreshments, so this seems cheaper by far for entertainment.

With all that said, the game is decent, its not like you will play it all day, just a little bit each day, and move on to something else. This review was for the web based version.

Hero Wars has about as much utility and charm as a backed up toilet. At best, it's the sort of typically dreadful schlock without merit that clogs online game stores everywhere. I would argue, however, that it's bottom of the barrel, even by shovelware standards. The constant barrage of lewd and downright stupid advertising I have witnessed for this game paints a grim but accurate picture for the sordid, vapid experience. The character design is crap. The world is crap. The game play is crap. The entire experience is crap. It's a fantasy fiasco for the dim-witted that has no right to exist. It's downright vile, and there are few activities that aren't illegal and/or cause permanent bodily harm that would be worse than playing it.
