Tord Boontje Garland Light

I am constantly on the look out for great finds for my home. Whether it be something as simple as throw pillows or a more intricate lighting fixture, discovering the ultimate in decor options is one of my favorite past times.

Below are my top eight choices for home accessories picked with the hopes that someone will read this and I will magically find a few of these items under the tree come Christmas morning. And if you don't want to buy these items for me, they will also serve as great gifts for the other decorating divas in your life.

I hope you enjoy all of these picks.

Kikkerland Gear Wall Clock—This clock is definitely a high-design piece that would dress up any home. The modern gear-like look appears to be more of an art piece than an actual wall clock, but it keeps time with the best of them. Use it to impress your friends!

Dwell Studio for Target® Pansy Shower Curtain- I’m always a sucker for Dwell Studio patterns, so I can’t help but love this pansy-printed shower curtain from the affordable Target collection. I love the gray and green colors and the big splash of flowers. It would add a nice pop to the bathroom for sure.

db Sources Double Flower Decorative Pillow- I have been looking for new throw pillows to place on my couch, but this one from db Sources is far from the average pillow. It was crafted by hand using layered ruffles of imported, sustainable abaca fiber. I am falling for the texture and the pretty feminine look of it.

Tord Boontje Garland Light- This is one of the most dreamy and whimsical chandelier lights I’ve ever seen. Tord Boontje is very well known for his lighting fixtures and I’ve fallen in love with the pretty purple shade and the delicate flower shapes in this one. I would love to hang it over my bed.

Ceramic Owl Umbrella Stand/Vase- I’m kind of obsessed with owls. I have owl trinkets all over my apartment, so this umbrella stand would fit right in with the rest of my décor. I love the chic white finish. Plus, this umbrella stand also doubles as a vase, so you can put some great flowers in it and set it on a table as well.

Fred and Friends Salt and PeeperFred and Friends Salt and Peeper- This little guy is a salt and pepper shaker all in one. When you turn his head one way, salt dispenses. Turn his head the other way and you get pepper. Both pour out of his little beak. I think this is an adorable kitchen accessory and I want him on my table.

"Handmade Home: Simple Ways to Repurpose Old Materials into New Family Treasures"- I am all about recycling goods and making them into something new and exciting. This is a book that demonstrates simple and efficient ways to do that in your home. It looks like the pages are filled with great ideas and I wouldn’t mind having this as a reference in my apartment.
