Ramping up the fever before Paramore makes their eventual, highly-anticipated return, singer Hayley Williams will be diving deep into her love of all things post-punk and Emo as part of BBC Sounds' series Back To Back.

Hayley's first hour-long episode of her scheduled 20-part Everything Is Emo podcast is available for streaming now, featuring a fire playlist including tracks from Jimmy Eat World, Panic! at the Disco, The Postal Service, Wet Leg, Linkin Park, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Used, and more.

Speaking of the project, Williams explains, "Not long ago, people started calling me a ‘veteran’ of my scene and of the music industry. It sounds so funny to me because most of the time I still feel like a fan." She adds, "the serious truth is I have, in fact, grown up in this scene for the last two decades. I guess that’s a pretty long time. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to publicly nerd out about bands and songs that make my favourite subgenre feel like home to me. And while it will be fun to take some trips down memory lane, I’m just as excited, if not more, to play music from new artists I’m discovering all the time."

Hayley most recently took the stage with singer Billie Eilish during Coachella's Weekend 2, performing her Paramore hit "Misery Business," as well as a duet with Eilish on the festival's main stage. Late in 2021, Williams hinted that the band would return the following year, saying “Paramore can’t be ‘on a break’ forever now can we?”

The band came through, announcing their scheduled appearance at 2022's When We Were Young Festival happening across three stages on October 22, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada -- plus a second show with the same lineup on October 23, and another on October 29.
