The straps need to be cut to the size of the dog. I'm going to add snaps to the ends of the straps to slip on to the side to keep them out of his way when walking. He has not yet peed on it. The straps fit snuggle under his belly/chest and across the front of his chest.
If it last more than 5 year I would buy again. After a few months. I'm still impressed.

My dog was a bit apprehensive initially. He is a puppy so it was new. He now goes to it and looks at it when he wants a walk. I keep his poop bags in one pocket, another pocket for picking up poop until we get to the a trashcan and the other pocket has his ball most of the time. When it is cold it fits over his jacket that his mother makes him wear. He holds his mother's cell phone when she does not have pockets. He just needs a few patches to complete the look. I would not recommend anyone pickup a dog with the hand holds. It is however good when they sit to steady them.Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2023

The harness looks great and the pouches are very handy! Came with three different types of pouches that have different level of security depending on the contents. My pup was a little resistant at first, but now he doesn't seem to mind at all. The material feels tough and feels like it should last, but only time will tell. I'm not sure if I got the right sizing. I got a L based on other reviewers for my 70 lbs GSD and I had to adjust the straps quite a bit for the harness not to slide around as he wore it. As a result, there is quite a bit of extra strap that dangles from below the vest. I may trim the extra material for better aesthetics, but also to make sure the harness doesn't impede walking or other activities. I also don't feel very confident in the grab handles to pick up the puppers as the vest bends and looks like it might be applying too much pressure to my dog's stomach. Overall I'm quite happy with the product and the price. Would buy again!

This is the first harness I've found that doesn't pull at my dogs shoulders. It fits well and seems to be pretty good quality. My dog is 75lb, barrel-chested Bulldog mix with shoulder and hip dysplasia. I got a large and it fits her well and she seems comfortable in it. The length is a little long for her, but I think that's her body type. The measurements seem to be about true to the description and the harness seems to be fairly durable.
Overall really happy with the purchase and I would recommend, especially if you have a chonky, barrel-chested dog like me.
