The fall of 2023 marks the 17th season for Women's Soccer Head Coach Tony LeBlanc, who has been the only head coach in the program’s history.  Coach LeBlanc has overseen the program's rise to NCAA Division II membership, and has led the team to 11 consecutive seasons with a winning record, and 2 NCAA national tournament appearances over the last 3 eligible years. He helped the Griffins achieve their first-ever RMAC Conference Championship berth in 2020-21, narrowly losing in a heart-breaking shootout.
The Griffins have had multiple RMAC First team All-Conference selections over his tenure, and in each of the past five seasons and have consistently placed an average of 15 players on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll since joining the league in 2015.  Westminster had a program-best 15 student-athletes recognized as RMAC All-Academic in 2019 and 16 recognized in 2021.  In 2016, Madison Roemer became the first Griffin to be named RMAC Player of the Year and was also the first to be named Second Team D2CCA All-South Central Region. Three other players have since been named to the D2CCA All-South Central Region team under Coach LeBlanc in Aimee Kurfurst in 2018, and both Alexa Maple, and Alex Hoffman in 2021 respectively.
During Westminster's time in the NAIA and Frontier Conference, LeBlanc guided the Griffins to a 25-18-4 record (.571) in the Frontier Conference games, amassing five Frontier Conference regular season and tournament championships along the way. Westminster made three separate trips (2011, 2013, 2014) to the NAIA National Championships where they won the Unaffiliated Conference Tournament each respective year and multiple national rankings.
Westminster had five players receive honorable mention NAIA All-American honors under LeBlanc. The Griffins also had 24 players named All-Frontier Conference, including 2013 Frontier Conference Player of the Year Nicole Carter. LeBlanc has been coach of the year on three separate occasions and added Unaffiliated Coach of the Year the last two seasons to his Frontier award in 2011. There were 31 Griffins named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete under LeBlanc while 94 were named Academic All-Frontier Conference.
The final two seasons in the NAIA saw the Griffins make consecutive trips to the NAIA National Championships after winning the Unaffiliated Conference Tournament.  Westminster set a school record with 15 wins in 2014.  LeBlanc earned back-to-back Unaffiliated Coach of the Year honors in 2013 and 2014.
LeBlanc is a Westminster alumnus, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business back in 2005.  While attending Westminster, LeBlanc played for the men’s soccer program for four years under Chris Dorich, being named a two-time All-American scholar-athlete and serving as a team captain his senior year.  He finished his Griffin career with four goals and 10 assists over 75 games played with 60 career starts.
LeBlanc’s coaching experience ranges across the collegiate, high school, and youth levels; he served time as the boy's Varsity Assistant/JV Head Coach at East High School and helped lead them to the school's first State Championship in 2006.  During the 2006 season, LeBlanc served as Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at BYU-Hawaii where he was instrumental in forming and organizing a first-year NCAA Division II women’s soccer program that finished second in the Pac West Conference with a 12-4 record
