Meg Ryan is living life on her own terms, despite the fact that there’s a wedding in her future.

The actress, who has been engaged to rocker John Mellencamp since November of 2018, told InStyle she’s in no rush to walk down the aisle.

“Yes, I’m going to get married at some point,” the 57-year-old told the outlet. “But for now this engagement thing is a state of grace.”

Ryan, a rom-com veteran with beloved hits including 1989’s “When Harry Met Sally” and 1998’s “You’ve Got Mail” under her belt, is taking her talents behind the camera.

“Now I’m focused on producing,” she said. “I’m also teeing myself up to direct, and I’m working on a fun e-commerce project with some of my friends.”

In the interview, which was a part of the issue’s 25th-anniversary edition, she touched on social media and how it’s changed the game since her days on the big screen.

“You have a direct relationship with your audience if you choose to, but that’s a double-edged sword. Like anything if it’s overindulged, then it’s a problem.”

Ryan, who isn’t extremely active on social media, actually announced her engagement to 67-year-old Mellencamp on Instagram with an illustration of the two stars.

As for her personal life, Ryan’s children — Jack, 27, with ex Dennis Quaid and Daisy, 16 — are her priority.

“What I’m ambitious for in the 12 hours a day that I’m awake is my kids’ happiness. I just am,” she said. “I’m either figuring out how to provide for them, figuring out how to say it right, figuring out all those mom things. I want them to be happy. And today I’m happy too.”

Jack, 27, told Page Six in April that he’s “super excited” for his mom and Mellencamp to marry — whenever that may be.

“I couldn’t be happier for both of them,” he said.
