You may not have heard of Andrew Levitt and his friends but you must have certainly stumbled across their inspiration. This adventurous team of guys travels around the world to recreate the images found in Apple’s desktop wallpapers.

“An image can say a thousand words,” is their motto and it seems that there is nowhere this intrepid group of friends will not go to capture the beautiful images they recreate from Apple’s desktop wallpapers.

Still, as stunning and inspiring as all these images are, they do not compare to Windows XP wallpaper ‘Bliss.” Luckily for the team, the location of the world-famous wallpaper was less than a two-hour drive from Levitt’s home.

You might be wondering: how do they know where these wallpapers are exactly located? How do they access this information?

We wondered the same thing and unfortunately, the video does not answer that, probably though, someone simply took notice decades ago. It does, however, give you a sneak peek into the journey of this unstoppable group of friends.

The photo they seek to recreate was taken in 1996 by National Geographic photographer Charles O’Rear. Will they be able to match this experienced photographer’s talent and take a worthwhile imitation picture? You have to watch the video to find out.
