Abstract

The telephone system transmits speech between a caller and a receiver selected from a public telephone network. The caller (1) dials an access number from a public telephone box via the public telephone network (2) operating through a local exchange (3). The local exchange is operated by a telephone subscriber and delivers spoken information, and then after further dialling a code-number, reaches the required receiver again via the public network (2'). An automatic subscriber driven local exchange may be used for automatic announcements, esp. for advertising. After dialling a code number allows connection with desired end user. ADVANTAGE - No charge or reduced charge for caller from public telephone box (5) while connected to spoken information local exchange.

Description

The invention relates to a telephone system for the linguistic information transfer according to the generic term of Claim 1.

Telephone systems of the type mentioned are due by the DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST, TELEKOM or corresponding international telephone companies provided facilities and services known. These facilities, especially the Special services such as B. automatic announcements or Private branch exchanges have the disadvantage that after completion the announcement the connection must be terminated before a new election can take place. So is one direct functional connection of the announcement with a intended further selection without interrupting the connection and new election not possible.

The systems mentioned make it impossible to dial a desired end user via an intermediate center or similar device determined by the access code in order to obtain information and then continue dialing in the public telecommunications network. The object of the invention is to provide an intermediate center ( 3 , 6 ) with playable spoken information and subsequent further selection in accordance with the preamble of the main claim.

Here, the calling subscriber ( 1,1 ') selects the intermediate center ( 3,6 ) according to the invention, which in terms of function represents an end subscriber, by means of an access code and receives individually spoken or recorded and automatically reproduced information. The exemption from or reduction of fees results from the assumption of costs by the operator of the intermediate center ( 3 , 6 ) according to the invention. Corresponding telecommunications circuits, e.g. B. Service 130, are state of the art.

The exemption from or reduction in fees for the subscriber ( 1 ') calling from a public telephone booth ( 5 ) is basically through

• a) Return of the inserted coins after the end of the Conversation,
• b) no debiting or reduced debiting of the Telephone fee from the magnetic stripe on the telephone card
• c) or preferably by using an im Pay phone set access code that a connection without coins or phone card enables. This setting option is e.g. B. with the long-distance coin operated telephone MünzFw 21 and following models of the Deutsche Bundespost.

Claims (3)

Telephone system for the linguistic information transmission between a calling and a freely selectable in the public telephone network end subscriber, characterized in that the calling subscriber ( 1 ) by dialing a predetermined access code, via the public switched telephone network ( 2 ), operated by a telephone subscriber Intermediate center ( 3 ), which conveys spoken information, then, after another dial tone, by dialing a code number, again via the public telecommunications network ( 2 '), reaches the desired end user ( 4 ). 2.
