Description

The invention relates to a method for determining the position of objects, namely mobile exercise participants Combat exercise, the moving objects one optoelectronic receiver and a radio data transmission device exhibit.

Battlefield simulators and battlefield exercises for reali practice-oriented training of certain tactical situations too with the help of computer representations are known. Here, for example, real troops practicing in the field, simulate their tasks and movements with a computer troops or combat vehicles coupled to this  Wise to represent neighbors and opponents. At acquaintances Institutions can make the real practitioners do the impact of friendly or opposing troops, but feel them do not perceive visually and support or fight.

It is therefore necessary for effective leadership and Evaluation of a combat exercise, an accurate and constant Positioning of weapon systems, vehicles, Facilities, facilities and people of the involved Parties and other management bodies and these Positioning data to a command center transferred so that the effects and combat activities can be traced on the one hand and on the other hand there is always a precise overview of which of the moving objects themselves in certain predetermined Stop supply rooms, shelters or buildings.

To solve this problem, it is known to have a position determine the mobile objects by making them are equipped with GPS receivers and via radio data transmission facilities that are able to accommodate the respective Send position data to the command center.

However, this technique, which has already been proposed, can be used only insufficiently meet the requirements. A Position determination is not possible if the relevant objects, e.g. B. vehicles or exercise participants, in dense forests, in buildings or shelters. This then leads to an incomplete representation of forces and combat actions, incorrect failure calculations of the Impact simulation and a poor presentation the exercise briefing.

From US-PS 54 20 594 A is a multimode Positionsbe mood method known, where the position accurate speed using the so-called differential GPS, the can be up to 5 m, should be increased. By the Recourse to a DGPS method can be done in a manner known per se  Way by the time base shift of the satellite systembe driver's deliberately caused inaccuracy in the evaluation undoing or eliminating the satellite signals become. However, the evaluation of a DGPS signal sets it Reception or receivability ahead. If so the received GPS signal was determined not to be valid, must then according to the cited US-PS on a so-called Vehicle detection system can be switched on the Basis of high-frequency location by means of appropriate High frequency beacon is realized. The problem of Impossibility of detecting the position of Combat participants, if this turns into electromagnetic shielded rooms, shelters or the like, is not addressed in US-PS 54 20 594 A.

In the position determination system for a vehicle according to US PS 48 15 840, a mobile robot has a variety of Sensors that interact with appropriate beacons to to be able to specify the direction of movement and distance with high precision. Specifically, beacons are shown which have infrared sources. The beacons work with infrared-sensitive receivers of the mo robots together to move them in the desired direction. Way to control.

It is therefore an object of the invention, starting from the state Technique further developed for the position determination movement of moving objects, namely mobile exercise parts to indicate to participants in a combat exercise which an exact Combat data, anytime and independent of the current operating possibility of a data radio device, guaranteed so that at least a timely reconstruction of the battle data becomes possible when the data radio is on direction can be reactivated. Beyond that with the procedure to be created an increase in Spatial resolution for position detection of moving objects, especially in rooms or shelters.

The object of the invention is achieved in accordance with Claim 1, the subclaims at least purpose include moderate refinements and developments.

This is based on the basic idea of the invention method according to the invention for determining the position of movable Objects, namely mobile exercise participants Battlefield exercise in z. B. Houses, shelters, problematic sections of the terrain to provide freely programmable optoelectronic transmitters, these transmitters in a predetermined range expediently acting as an all-round radiator, a Always broadcast transmitter position and real-time information. In addition, there is the possibility that the radiated Information a building, room or floor identifier include.

In the case when one of the mobile exercise participants, this can e.g. B. a combat vehicle or a fighting person be in the scope of each optoelectronic transmitter occurs, then the most optoelectronic receivers attached to moving object the location offset, the data sent based on the location and receive real-time information, process it and by means of a data radio device known per se to transfer to a command center.

According to the invention, the freely programmable optoelectro African transmitter as self-sufficient modules on the power supply side trained and provided in such places and / or rooms, which are completely or partially electromagnetically shielded are, d. H. preferably where there is reception of GPS satel lit signals is not possible or only possible to a limited extent.

According to a further basic idea of the invention, as Duel simulator provided on the moving object systems, e.g. B. AGDUS can be used. In this case it is  the frequency range of the optoelectronic transmitter turned off those of the duel simulator system.

The optoelectronic transmitters preferably transmit a position or position information about the location of the installed Transmitter in UTM coordinates and a real time, e.g. B. CET. In addition, there is the possibility of sending one in coded form Information on which floor, building or Part of the building is the respective transmitter.

The optoelectronic transmitters preferably work in the pulsed operation and emit a performance that sufficient to receive receivers located in the room in question activate.

According to a further basic idea of the invention, it is possible to proceed an update, addition or correction of the Position determination by GPS with the position or location determined by the special optoelectronic transmitter be made so that in the event of failure or not out sufficient position determination using GPS exact data about the respective location of the mobile Detect objects and transfer them to the command center can be.

In the case where certain weapon effects are simulated should be the number of moving objects that are in the sphere of activity, exactly determined and thus the result of the effect simulation with sufficient Accuracy and received in a short time and for further Evaluation are provided.

It is within the spirit of the invention that the moving objects Tracked vehicles, wheeled vehicles or people who, as already mentioned, known optoelectronic Have receivers of duel simulator systems in the Are able to transmit the location real time laser transmitter data to receive and process.

According to the invention it is provided that the position and / or the Duration of the moving objects in an elektromag netically shielded room by means of a mobile Object stored memory so long until there is a new communication with the data radio direction is possible. This ensures that past periods and movements, e.g. B. in Houses, for a later period, but in a timely manner on Events can be reconstructed.

In addition, there is the possibility of the invention Device by arranged in houses or rooms To add motion detectors and / or video technology.

Alternatively, instead of optoelectronic transmitters or Receiver also use ultrasound or RF transmitters Receiver assemblies take place. The benefits of using of laser transmitters / receivers lies in the fact that equipment already available on the participant side can be shared.

All in all, the invention, battle data, succeeds also in critical terrain sections z. B. at the local or Forest combat to capture, so that in an optimal way Combat control and simulation through the exact knowledge of the Whereabouts of the respective objects involved in the exercise are involved.

The invention effectively allows position determination in such locations, e.g. B. houses and Shelters where due to the limited or not to receiving satellite signals from a GPS system Positioning of mobile exercise participants on the basis of known GPS data is only conditional or not feasible.

There are special advantages when using infantry in the local and / or forest fight in such a way that the data of the troops involved up to date and in a timely manner  Battle control center can be transmitted. Preferably become optical interfaces or optical receivers well-known duel simulators that are able to are obtained from the outside additional optical z. B. Receive and process laser information. The Processing is done in such a way that the location of the mobile Participant preferably in UTM coordinates due to the Location of the respective optoelectronic transmitter also at Failure of the position determination by GPS by a mobile Subscriber unit can be determined, the determined location as the current location of the mobile Participant or object to the battle control center is transferable.

The invention is illustrated below with the aid of an embodiment game and explained with the help of a figure become.

The figure shows the basic arrangement of freeprogram mable optoelectronic transmitters in selected Sections and / or rooms of a combat training area.

The movable object 1 shown in the figure is, for example, a combat vehicle or a practitioner.

The movable object 1 has an optoelectronic receiver and a data radio device, with the aid of which communication with the combat control center 2 is possible. The receiver and the data radio device form a subscriber unit 3 of the mobile exercise participant 1. A duel simulation system AGDUS can be used, for example, as the optoelectronic receiver of the subscriber unit 3 .

This system enables e.g. B. a shot simulation, a Shooting triggers a shot and over decoded laser the victim is not told who the shooter was and what type of ammunition was used.

Due to laser reflectors as a target, the shooter can additionally the distance to the target and the hit situation determine. The shooter then reports on a data radio equipment to a higher-level network its own Identification, the time of shooting, information about Hit and miss and the type of ammunition used. The affected person calculates his failure and reports it also to a higher-level network in connection with the Time of failure, the cause, the ammunition, the failure art, the direction from which the shot came and the AGDUS Identifier of the shooter.

In the exemplary embodiment according to the figure, the arrangement of optoelectronic transmitters 4 inside and outside in the vicinity of buildings is shown symbolically.

The arrangement of optoelectronic transmitters 4 , also referred to below as location laser transmitters, is advantageous for the evaluation of combat exercises in local and house combat, since both the current locations of the individual moving objects 1 can be determined continuously and, on the other hand, effect simulations (Wirksim) are carried out can. The arrangement of optoelectronic transmitters 4 in the immediate vicinity of e.g. B. houses at points 4.1 , the approaching or removal of moving objects 1 can be registered.

In the case of houses 5 with several floors, optoelectronic transmitters 4.2 to 4.4 are provided on each floor, including the roof area.

The optoelectronic transmitters 4 to 4.4. preferably have an omnidirectional pattern and operate in pulse mode.

The power supply to the optoelectronic transmitter 4 is self-sufficient, for. B. over solar cell-buffered batteries, so that the maintenance is reduced and the operating reliability increases the entire device.

In the case when a mobile subscriber 1 comes into the effective range of a location laser transmitter 4 , the subscriber unit 3 , especially the respective optoelectronic receiver, receives the transmitter position and, if appropriate, the real-time information and additional identifiers, so that the current position of the subscriber can be determined. The received information is then transmitted to the control center 2 via the data radio device integrated in the subscriber unit 3 .

Then when a radio data communication to the command center central z. B. is not possible due to electromagnetic shielding, a memory arranged in the subscriber unit 3 stores the transmitter position and real-time information at least until undisturbed data communication can be continued or resumed. This measure ensures that a reconstruction of the location and the time of the respective moving object can be calculated in a timely manner by means of a computer system.

According to a further example shown in the figure, a location laser transmitter 4 is arranged in a shelter 6 , which is located in the field. The mode of operation of the relevant location laser transmitter in connection with the movable object 1 located in the shelter is analogous to that described above.

In one embodiment, the location lasers send a time receiver, e.g. B. a so-called DCF module, so that starting from a central time standard one at a time exact real time information sent and from the respective optoelectronic receiver of the relevant movable Object can be received.
